Description

Unlock your full potential as an actor and take your craft to the next level with our Advanced Acting Challenge. This course is designed for actors who are committed to refining their skills, expanding their range, and achieving excellence in their craft. Dive deep into the art of creating complex and compelling characters and connecting emotionally with your scene partners.

Students will dive deep into character development through scene work, one-on-one coaching, theatre history, and more. Leave your comfort zone behind and jump into the Acting Challenge!
Prerequisite: At least one beginning acting class.

Rebekah Rainey

After growing up onstage, Rebekah received her B.A. in Theatre from LSU. She is a passionate storyteller and arts administrator. She has directed several shows for CYT, most recently The SpongeBob Musical. Past acting credits include Godspell (Disciple), Interrupting Vanessa (Mom), and Shrek The Musical (Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy). Most days you can find Rebekah at a local coffee shop, listening to music and working for CYT! She is grateful to the Lord for this unique creative community.
