Description

Acting class seeking some far out dudes and dudettes, to dive deep into the basics of drama and acting in this exciting and energizing course! From theatre history to improv, this class is designed to give you a basic foundation of the world of drama.  Skills to be covered include: 
  • Basic theatre terminology
  • Stage direction and blocking
  • Character development
  • Introduce concept of stage business and how to integrate into a performance

Tristian Sholar

Tristian is excited to join the CYT teaching staff this year. He has been active in the theatre community on stage for about 9 years. In recent years Tristian has served his local church as their youth and children's minister, so he cannot wait to combine his two biggest passions together. His past stage credits include CCT'S The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), The Little Mermaid (Eric), West Side Story (Tony), and Shakespeare in Love (Will Shakespeare). He cannot wait to start creating memories with his class!
