In this class, students will not only grow vocally, but professionally as they learn correct vocal technique and performance skills. Students will work as soloists, as well as in a group to create beautiful music. Every pupil will have the opportunity to pick one song for the session. With the help of their peers and myself, each participant will attempt to master their song over 9 weeks. In class, we will determine every student's vocal range, music theory level, stage presence, and overall technique.

This class is designed to help form well-rounded performers as each student dedicates themselves to their musical selection. This session, we will celebrate CYT Baton Rouge’s 10-year anniversary by selecting and performing songs from past shows. With so many shows to choose from, students will have a blast reminiscing and performing pieces from CYTBR’s repertoire, including Tony award-winning shows such as Shrek, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, The Music Man, and many more.
