Class Description

You don’t have to have a great voice to be a great singer!  Learn how to sing a song by learning the secrets of singing through your character voice. Some of the greatest stars on Broadway didn’t have great voices but they knew how to deliver a song.  Learn how to analyzing a character and then become that character when you sing. It’s fun, it’s acting and it’s what theatre is all about – make-believe.   Sing like a rock star, a country western singer, or a Broadway baby and do it with style and character.

This class will focus on the music by Rodgers and Hammerstein

  • Review of Voice objectives and principles
  • Learn how to interpret a songs lyrics and purpose
