Live theater is the perfect field trip - see a Broadway style musical!

The School Day Show reservation / order form for the 2023-2024 season is now available! Both Finding Nemo, Jr. and Anastasia (Youth Edition) will be about 1.5 hours long including intermission. 

Our School Day performances are designed for local public and private schools. Homeschoolers and homeschool groups are encouraged to come to our regular performances. 

You can be on the stage (or backstage if you prefer) in one of our musical plays!

The first step is to enroll in one or more of our CYT Classes. We offer a variety of classes in acting, singing, and dancing. Please see our Classes page for more information.

Once you are enrolled in a class -- and you are aged 8-18 (must still be in High School) -- then you are eligible to audition for one of our shows.

If you have graduated from High School or you are 18 years old or older, CYT Baton Rouge has opened a new community theater program for you called Christian Community Theater (CCT Baton Rouge). Are very young children allowed in your performances? Do I need to buy a ticket for my young child?

Yes. Our shows are family friendly, and we welcome children to attend our shows. Here are our policies for very small children:

Ages 0 - 1 - no ticket needed if seated in the lap of an adult.

Ages 1 and up - a ticket must be purchased for the child, even if they sit in your lap.

If you bring a small child, please be considerate of other audience members; disruptive children and their parent will be asked to leave the auditorium (no refunds if you have to leave the show).

No strollers in the auditorium. Please don't block seats or aisles with car seats or carriers.


Where are my tickets that I purchased online?

We emailed your ticket(s) to the email address you provided when you checked out. Please check your email Spam folder to see if your ticket is there. If you still can't find your ticket, then email tickets@cytbatonrouge.org, and we will re-send your ticket. Also, you can simply stop by the Box Office when you arrive for the performance, and we will have your name on a list of tickets purchased. 


How long are your shows?

Times vary. If the show has "Jr." in the title, then it will probably be between 1.5 and 2 hours. Other shows are usually between 2.5 to 3 hours long.


Can I return or get a refund for my ticket(s)?

No. Tickets cannot be returned or refunded.


Can I switch my tickets for a different performance time?

Sorry, no exchanges.


Do you have spaces for Wheelchair seating?

Yes. Just purchase the number of general admission spaces/seats you need. Then please email tickets@cytbatonrouge.org to let them know you purchased tickets already but need wheelchair seats and companion seats. Note: up to two companion seats max for each wheelchair space. We will reserve your spaces. Check in at the "box office/will call" table so we can show you where your seats are when you arrive. 


Do you give ticket discounts for Seniors?

No. We do not offer Senior discounts, but we do offer group discounts for groups of 15 or more people, including seniors.


Do you have gift certificates?

No. We do not have gift certificates.
