Amanda is excited to be serving as Stage Manager for The Wizard of Oz, her second show in the role after stage managing The Little Mermaid. Her family first became involved with CYT Baton Rouge in 2022 with Charlotte’s Web, when she joined the props team. She spent two years working on the props team before serving another two years as Props PTL. She has also had the opportunity to experience theater from the other side of the curtain, appearing onstage in Fiddler on the Roof. The Wizard of Oz is especially meaningful because it is the first production to have all three of Amanda’s daughters in the cast! The Breaux family loves being part of CYT Baton Rouge and the wonderful community it is provides. With each production, Amanda has enjoyed learning new aspects of theater and discovering just how much she loves being part of what happens both onstage and behind the scenes. She is incredibly grateful for the friendships, experiences, and memories CYT has brought to her family.
