Delve into the fascinating world of technical theater with Behind the Scenes, an immersive class designed for students aged 13-18 who are interested in the magic that happens offstage. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the essential technical aspects of theater production, from set design, costumes, and props to stage management, lighting, and sound. Whether you're passionate about building, designing, or managing, this class offers hands-on experience and valuable skills that are crucial to bringing a theater production to life. This class will be held on FRIDAYS from 5pm-7:15pm at Goodwood Community Church (show rehearsal space) and CYT Baton Rouge Warehouse (Drusilla Lane). Instead of presenting in showcase, students will be assigned in a position on the crew of our show this session.
