Description

American Sign Language is in the theater arts everywhere! It’s seen in concerts, movies, TV productions, Broadway shows, and even the Academy Awards. ASL uses pantomime, facial expressions, body movements, stance, and confidence. In this class, we will explore ASL’s beauty, its language, and its unique way of expressing oneself, and then creatively use it in theater.

Adysen is a CYT alumni. She is currently pursuing an associates degree in American Sign Language interpreting at Delgado community college. Adysen loves the beach, Orca whales, reading and worshipping Jesus. She is so excited to begin her teaching journey!!!
